If you've ever eaten a habanero pepper I'm sure that you're familiar with the feeling that you're breathing fire for the next several hours. You may be wondering how that could be beneficial to your health, but in many ways, eating chile peppers is good for you.

The burning sensation that you feel in your mouth from the chile sends a signal to your brain telling it that you need to cool down. Your brain in return releases endorphins which act as your bodys natural pain killers. With these extra endorphins floating around, the avid chile pepper consumer may experience a sense of well being or even euphoria!

Other benefits of chile peppers are increased blood flow and cleared sinuses. They are also high in Vitamin C.
